A person in his 70s has died after being pulled from the water at a preferred NSW seashore.
The man was discovered unresponsive within the water at Fingal Beach, Port Stephens at 10am this morning.
NSW Ambulance paramedics did CPR however had been unable to revive him.
Officers from Port Stephens Hunter Police District are investigating and a report is being ready for the coroner.
