No passengers have been aboard the bus when it collided with the automobile at an intersection on Burwood Highway and Mount Dandenong Tourist Road at Upper Ferntree Gully round 8:40pm yesterday.
“The driver of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Victoria Police mentioned in an announcement.
“The driver of the bus was not injured,” police mentioned.
Investigations are ongoing.
