The man was pulled from the water at Curl Curl seashore, at 11am this morning.
Beachgoers in addition to police did CPR till NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived.
He was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital however died.
NSW Police mentioned a report can be ready for the data of the coroner.
