The crash occurred on the Pacific Highway close to the intersection of Shirley Road and Falcon Street about 3.30pm.

The kids have been handled on the scene by paramedics earlier than being taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a steady situation.

Police arrested a person at Lane Cove – a number of suburbs away from Crows Nest – about half-hour later.

Live Traffic NSW stated the Pacific Highway is closed southbound at Falcon Street because of the crash.

“Two of three northbound lanes are also closed,” the authority stated.

”Southbound motorists are diverting left into Falcon Street. Motorists exiting Falcon Street must turn left onto Pacific Highway.”

Peak hour visitors across the space is predicted to be disrupted for a while.

Local buses are delayed by greater than half-hour.
