A person and girl have died after they had been pulled from the water unresponsive in Victoria's east this afternoon.
Police stated the pair, who’re but to be formally recognized, had been pulled from the surf at Bastion Point in Mallacoota about 3.25pm.
Paramedics attended however the pair died on the scene.

Mallacoota is a well-liked vacation vacation spot positioned in East Gippsland, about 515km from Melbourne.
Police will put together a report for the coroner.
