A passerby discovered the 34-year-old man injured on the footpath on Jamieson Street in Cheltenham about 8.50pm yesterday.
Police have stated the “circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear”, with police investigating reviews arguing was heard within the space and that the person was final seen on the balcony of a close-by residence.
The man rushed to hospital and is believed to be in a crucial situation.
A person and lady from one of many close by residences have been arrested and interviewed by police.
They are at present aiding police with their enquiries.
Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.
