A person has been charged after he allegedly shot an arrow into the top of a five-year-old boy taking part in in a yard on the NSW Mid North Coast.
Emergency companies rushed to a property on Wingham Circuit at Wingham at 7pm on Sunday following stories of an injured youngster.
The boy is believed to have been taking part in in his yard when he was struck within the head with an arrow.
The youngster was handled on the scene by paramedics earlier than he was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for ongoing remedy.
His situation is now secure, in accordance with police.
A 53-year-old resident of a neighbouring property was arrested on Sunday night time.
He was taken to Taree Police Station and charged with reckless wounding.
The neighbour was launched on bail and can seem in Taree Local Court on January 22.
