A person has been charged with assaulting, choking and threatening a girl, earlier than allegedly taking a toddler in a automobile as he left.
Police allege the girl was assaulted and threatened with a gun by the person, 29, on Tuesday.
About 1.30pm, he left the residence, taking a baby with him.
Townsville police had been notified and started an “immediate and co-ordinated” response by deploying all accessible crews to find the person and baby, a Queensland Police spokesman stated.
