Emergency crews had been referred to as to the home in Mount Tamborine at 12.15pm on June 29.
Matthew Berry was discovered useless on the dwelling with a number of accidents.
A 36-year-old Paradise Point man was charged with homicide this morning, Queensland Police say.
He will seem at Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Police allege the lads knew one another.
