All states and territories on mainland Australia will likely be ruled by the Labor Party for the primary time in 15 years, after victory within the New South Wales Election.
The end result means the entire of Australia, aside from Tasmania, can have a Labor state and federal authorities for the primary time since Kevin Rudd turned prime minister in 2007.
It is the second time it has ever occurred in Australia.
The federal authorities turned to Labor when Prime Minister Anthony Albanese gained the 2022 election.
