National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan disclosed Tuesday that there could be a Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) assembly earlier than President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s second State of the Nation Address (SONA).
“Yes, we’ll have one before SONA,” Balisacan informed GMA News Online.
Meanwhile, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri stated a pre-LEDAC assembly was held amongst lawmakers on Monday.
“Napag-usapan po dito ang mga priority measures na kailangang ipasa ng Senado at ng Kamara sa darating na Second Regular Session,” Zubiri stated.
Zubiri talked about {that a} assembly with the Executive division would happen on July 5.
Among those that attended the assembly had been Speaker Martin Romualdez, Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda, Senator Sonny Angara, and House Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
