Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the federal government is “doing what we can” to make a distinction on the price of dwelling disaster.

“So many people are doing it tough that there is always someone who is needing support from the food bank – the government is doing what we can to make a difference on the cost of living,” Mr Albanese stated throughout Question Time on Wednesday.

“That’s why we have fee-free TAFE, that’s why we have cheaper medicines, that’s why from tomorrow we will have cheaper childcare – we’re pleased with the unemployment figures and the fact that so many jobs have been created in our first ten months in office, something that seems to be denigrated by those opposite.”
