Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the Coalition warned the Albanese authorities that dashing on the fuel cap laws might have an effect on funding.
This comes after Senex Energy introduced its $1 billion fuel enlargement mission could be placed on maintain following the power value cap.
“And within a week, we’ve had confirmation of that their billion-dollar project now has been paused here in Queensland,” he advised Sky News Australia.
“This could have delivered 60 petajoules of gas a year which is more than 10 per cent of eastern Australia’s demand.”
