Government forced to make strategic decisions by ‘Chinese belligerence’

The authorities has been compelled by “Chinese belligerence” to make strategic choices and enhance affect within the Indo-Pacific area, says former Labor advisor Stephen Conroy.

Mr Conroy’s feedback come as a response to former prime minister Paul Keating’s criticisms of AUKUS on Wednesday.

“I would just say to Paul Keating, why don’t you talk about what China’s been doing,” he informed Sky News Australia.

“You’re a man of great courage normally, why don’t you talk about China on those things.”
