Former teacher accused of assaulting three young boys in Sydney in 1980s

The man, 68, confronted Wagga Wagga Local Court yesterday on 12 expenses together with seven counts of sexual assault.

Police will allege he assaulted three boys aged between 9 and 12 whereas they had been below his authority “as a teacher at the school and during camping trips”.

The man was arrested on Wednesday in Wagga Wagga, greater than six months after Kuring Gai officers launched an investigation into “multiple sexual assaults which are alleged to have occurred at a public school in St Ives between 1984-1988”.

His different expenses are three counts of gay intercourse – instructor of pupil, and two counts of buggery.

In an announcement launched final night time, police mentioned he was formally refused bail and would face the identical court docket once more on April 26.
