Shadow Home Affairs and Cyber Security Minister James Paterson says international authoritarian states are “weaponising” Western-headquartered social media platforms.
“As well as those platforms they control more directly like TikTok and WeChat because they are based in countries like China,” Mr Paterson advised Sky News host Peta Credlin.
