Figures show tourism and energy ‘were the two drivers’ of inflation

Figures launched on Wednesday present tourism and vitality “were the two drivers” of inflation, in response to The Australian’s Environmental Editor Graham Lloyd.

“The cost of travel and the cost of energy – they are all linked,” Mr Lloyd informed Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“We’re really looking for those energy prices to stabilise and reduce, and that will take the pressure off inflation.”
