Father-of-five killed in alleged hit-run in Victoria

A father-of-five has been killed after an alleged hit-run in Victoria’s south.

Police mentioned the 36-year-old man died in hospital after being hit by a stolen automotive within the city of Maffra, 220km east of Melbourne within the early hours of Saturday morning.

The man, who was from the city, was with a buddy when he hit on Morrison Street at about 3.40am.

The driver allegedly fled the scene within the stolen Kia, which has since been discovered on Roberts Court within the city.

The injured man’s buddy raised the alarm and emergency providers have been referred to as.

He was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital the place he later died.

Victoria Police mentioned they’re investigating.
