European push for reduced emissions will lead down a ‘path of poverty’

Webster University Assistant Professor Ralph Schoellhammer says Europe goes down a “path of poverty” as Dutch farmers are shifting in opposition to politicians shopping for out their farms in a bid to chop emissions.

“What Europe is currently doing is … down a primrose path of poverty in the future … if you make food more expensive, if you make energy more expensive everything else is going to get more expensive as well,” Mr Schoellhammer informed Sky News host Rita Panahi.
