Elderly couple ‘carjacked’ after giving man lift

Police are trying to find a person who allegedly helped an aged couple with their groceries then requested for a raise earlier than carjacking them.

CCTV photos have been launched in a bid to establish a person police say might be able to help them with their investigation.

The alleged incident occurred about 12pm on Tuesday at a purchasing centre in Casula, in Sydney’s west.

Police stated the 81-year-old girl driving the gold Nissan Micra observed the person allegedly steal her cellphone from her purse.

She then pulled over on Kurrajong Rd in Casula and requested him to depart.

He exited the automotive however then allegedly assaulted the lady and sat within the driver’s seat, driving away with the 90-year-old man nonetheless within the automotive.

A short while later, he allegedly assaulted the aged man and pushed him out of the automotive on Grimson Rd in Liverpool, then drove away once more.

NSW Ambulance paramedics handled the 90-year-old man for facial accidents.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a secure situation.

The man is described as being of caucasian look, aged about 50 to 55, of common construct, with quick darkish hair and lightweight stubble.

He was sporting a black, lengthy sleeve jacket, gray tracksuit pants, black slides and a black cap.
