Controversy has erupted on social media over the ABC’s determination to showcase a rap music simply earlier than the 9pm Sydney Harbour fireworks present, historically reserved as a show for households and their youngsters earlier than the enduring midnight celebration.
Indigenous rap group “3 Percent” carried out a music referred to as “Our People” for the ABC’s protection simply earlier than the 9pm fireworks, with rap lyrics backed by refrain singing and Indigenous dance.
