Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian stated Saturday the distribution of the company’s money support program to beneficiaries shall be by a QR code-based appointment system in a bid to keep away from crushing queuing for beneficiaries.
Interviewed on Dobol B TV, Gatchalian stated, “Starting tomorrow… lahat by appointment.”
“Kung 700 ‘yung kaya naman i-process. Ibibigay namin ang QR stubs for 700. Kapag naubos ‘yung 700 at may nakapila pa, we’ll do another 700 for the following day,” the DSWD chief stated.
The Cabinet official stated that the company is avoiding cases the place one individual will fall-in line to get an appointment stub then promote it to a different.
To implement the appointment system, he stated, the company will open extra payout retailers in Metro Manila “in 45 to 60 days.”
Maglalagay din tayo sa San Jose del Monte [Bulacan],” he stated.
“Kaya kami magbubukas ng payout outlets, in the future, magkakaroon na tayo ng territorial na approach. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
