The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) introduced over the weekend it’ll briefly droop the processing and releasing of assure letters from Monday, December 19, to Saturday, December 31, 2022.
The stated assure letters are for the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the DSWD.
The division stated it’s implementing the non permanent suspension on the DSWD Central Office to make sure that the assure letters beforehand launched might be paid first.

The DSWD suggested the general public to await additional bulletins on its web site and social media account as to when the processing and releasing of assure letters will resume.
According to the DSWD, the AICS is one of many packages beneath the division’s Protective Services Program that gives monetary and materials help, psychosocial help, and referral companies to indigents or in disaster people and their households, as assessed by social staff.
