Over P40.9 billion was distributed to over 6.5 million beneficiaries below the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in 2023.
According to the division, the quantity of help launched below the AICS program represented a 98.5% utilization of the fund value over P41.5 million.
The AICS is a daily program of the DSWD. It offers help for medical, burial, transportation, training, meals and different assist providers for Filipinos present process a disaster, in accidents, or extreme poverty.
