The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dismissed one criticism of unlawful possession of firearms and illegal possession of explosives filed towards Negros Oriental consultant Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr, its spokesperson stated Saturday.
According to a report by Luisito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB, DOJ spokesperson Mico Clavano stated the case was dismissed on account of lack of proof towards Teves, and that the lawmaker was not arrested when police authorities held a raid in one in every of his houses.
Further, the firearms had been below the custody of a sure “Roland Aguinsanda Pablio.”
Despite this, the DOJ stated Teves continues to be going through seven different complaints for unlawful possession of firearms, ammunition and explosives, collectively along with his sons.
The raids in addition to the criticism is related to the complaints for 3 counts of homicide the CIDG filed towards Teves for allegedly masterminding killings in 2019.
