Newly appointed Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa on Saturday promoted bicycles as a sustainable, reasonably priced, and various technique of transportation.

“Biking is a simple yet effective form of exercise and helps in reducing the levels of pollution in the country,” Herbosa mentioned throughout the World Bicycle Day celebration in Taguig City.

“If Taguig can do this, I challenge every city to encourage and support biking both as an alternative mode of transportation and as a means to reduce pollution in the country,” he added.
