DOH logs 303 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health on Sunday logged 303 new COVID-19 instances, bringing the Philippines’ whole instances to 4,169,947.

Active instances decreased by 90 to five,789—the bottom tally since April 29’s 5,070 instances, in line with GMA Integrated News Research.

Total recoveries elevated by 393 instances to 4,097,648, whereas the dying toll stays at 66,510.

The National Capital Region was the area with probably the most new COVID-19 instances within the final 14 days with

861, adopted by Central Luzon with 680; Calabarzon with 517; Western Visayas with 280; and Ilocos Region with 308.

Among cities and provinces, Quezon City had probably the most new instances within the final 14 days with 209, adopted by Iloilo province with 162; Nueva Ecija province with 154; Cavite province with 150; and Bulacan province with 143.

COVID-19 mattress occupancy is at 15.2%, with 3,643 beds occupied and 20,313 vacant. Of the occupied beds, 2,388 are within the ICU. — BM, GMA Integrated News
