DOH logs 116 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health on Monday recorded 116 new COVID-19 instances, bringing the Philippines’ whole confirmed coronavirus instances to 4,111,747.

According to the DOH’s COVID-19 tracker, energetic instances decreased by 23 to 2,647, whereas recoveries elevated by 493 to 4,042,419. The loss of life toll stays at 66,681. 

The National Capital Region was the area with probably the most new COVID-19 instances within the final 14 days with 554, adopted by Calabarzon with 230, Central Luzon with 177, Davao Region with 119, and Soccsksargen with 96.

Among cities and provinces, Quezon City had probably the most COVID-19 instances within the final 14 days with 129, adopted by Rizal province with 72, Cavite province with 70, Bulacan province with 64, and Davao City with 61.

COVID-19 mattress occupancy is at 13.6%, with 2,919 occupied—together with 2,113 ICU beds—and 18,535 vacant.

894 in previous week

In the week from September 4 to 10, in the meantime, the DOH logged 894 instances.

This is 15% greater than the 780 new instances recorded within the week of August 28 to September 3, and involves a every day common of 128, 15% greater than the 111 every day common instances within the earlier week, based on GMA Integrated News Research.
