Deterrence more likely to fail if US ‘left lonely’ amid South China Sea tensions

Strategic Analysis Australia’s Director Michael Shoebridge says multi-lateral deterrence requires nations different than simply the United States to “step up” amid tensions within the South China Sea.

“If the US is left lonely, then deterrence is much more likely to fail,” he instructed Sky News contributor Steve Price.
