Deputy Struck by Driver on Snowy Iowa Freeway

Police in central Iowa appealed to motorists to “slow down” once they see flashing lights after reporting {that a} deputy was struck by a car whereas helping a stranded driver on a snow-covered Interstate 80 on Saturday, March 11. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office mentioned Deputy Brandon Bjoin was serving to a motorist who was caught on the median when a car behind him crashed into the median and “sideswiped” Bjoin, putting his proper arm and knocking him to the bottom. This video launched by the sheriff’s workplace exhibits Bjoin’s bodycam footage from the March 11 incident.
