It might be that the Democrats “unwittingly” put Donald Trump again in workplace if the US goes into recession, says The Australian’s Washington Correspondent Adam Creighton.
“Democrats are obviously hoping Trump wins the nomination because they think that he’s very beatable in 2024 but the reality is that it’s quite likely that the US could be in a severe recession sometime next year,” Mr Creighton instructed Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“And of course that’s when people go to the polls, and everyone knows in every country … when there’s a recession, people vote against the incumbent government.”
