A policeman missed his kid’s birthday after he was killed in an anti-drug operation in Bataan.
According to Jun Veneracion’s report on “24 Oras”, Police Corporal Darnel Alfonso was shot by two suspects, who had been additionally killed within the capturing.
Two of Alfonso’s colleagues had been injured within the incident.
“Biruin niyo birthday na ng anak niya kinabukasan. may operation di naman yan tatanggi,” his widow Risa said. “Hindi ‘yan magdadahilan kahit maghapon na siyang
nakaduty sa office din kapag may operation, sama pa rin siya,” she added.
The PNP assured Alfonso’s family members that they’d instantly obtain the advantages and monetary help as a result of dependents of policemen like him.

Twenty-five law enforcement officials have been killed in anti-drug operations from July 2022 to March 2023.
