Shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan says the federal government’s dealing with of the lacking immigration detainee reveals their “complete incompetence”.
The federal authorities has misplaced full contact with a felony launched from immigration detention.
Mr Tehan advised Sky News host Andrew Bolt that there are a “number of steps” that the federal government can take.
“And yet once again we’re just hearing nothing from the government.
“Apart from the fact that they’re talking about – they might move on some sort of legislative process.”
