The submitting of certificates of candidacy for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) shall be opened within the first week of July, Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairperson George Garcia stated Tuesday.
“Ang plano namin mas maaga. First week ng July plano po natin magpa-file na ng candidacy upang ma-resolve na agad namin ‘yung mga disqualification cases at nuisance cases na minsan ay pagkadami-dami,” Garcia informed Dobol B TV.
(Our plan is to open the submitting of candidacy at an earlier time. We will open the submitting of candidacy within the first week of July so we will instantly resolve disqualification instances and nuisance instances that are generally so many.)
Garcia reminded the general public that for SK positions, the fee is not going to settle for these over 24 years outdated. For common candidates, it’s going to additionally reject those that usually are not registered voters.
