‘DPG Advisory Solutions and Former Liberal Advisor David Gazard says the Coalition’s place is “difficult” as no Opposition would wish to “get in the way” of a voter’s pocket.
“You have to heavily intervene in the market and re-nationalise an industry that has put billions of dollars of investment in, and that introduces sovereign risk,” Mr Gazard stated.
“We all stand in favour of lower bills for families … who wouldn’t, but at what cost?
“I don’t think anyone quite knows what the shape of this legislation is tomorrow.”
