Deloitte Access Economics Lead Partner Pradeep Philip says one of many “biggest structural challenges” of the financial system is the strategy used to cope with local weather change.
“Transport is about a fifth of the emissions in the economy – road transport a bulk of that,” Mr Philip informed Sky News Australia.
“In order to meet our climate and economic objectives, getting more people into electric vehicles has been critical.
“This is the key to dealing with one of the biggest economic issues the country faces.”
