Nationals MP Keith Pitt says NSW Labor chief Chris Minns’ plan to create a billion-dollar state government-owned renewable company is a “complete joke”.
“He’s dreaming, Peta – we’ve just heard from an industry expert about what’s happening at Snowy Hydro, ten billion plus, NSW Labor is going to fix it for a billion dollars,” Mr Pitt instructed Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“That’s just a complete joke – imagine if those tens of billions had been spent on nuclear or … existing coal or anything, to be honest, that worked, we’d be in a different situation.”
