A busy purchasing space has been closed off to the general public in peak hour after stories of pictures fired.
NCA NewsWire understands a person was shot on Spring Street close to Bondi Junction Westfield earlier than 8.30am on Tuesday.
NSW police have confirmed an operation is underway “following reports of shots fired”.
The operation is going down between Spring St and Denison St in Bondi Junction, Waverley Council stories.
This a part of Bondi Junction is closed to all site visitors, pedestrians and cyclists for the following few hours.
Locals are being suggested to keep away from the realm.
