Police allege the cab driver was parked on Wickham St in Fortitude Valley when three males entered the taxi at 12.50am, demanding his pockets.

It is alleged the three males pulled the person from the car, punching him and kicking him within the head earlier than fleeing, leaving him critically injured on the roadway.
