Blocking Clive Palmer’s mine does ‘nothing to help’ inflation crisis: Canavan

Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek’s choice to reject Clive Palmer’s coal mine proposal in Queensland does “nothing to help” the present inflation disaster, says Nationals Senator Matt Canavan.

“All Tanya’s decision will do is deny Australian families a job to keep a house over their head,” Mr Canavan informed Sky News Australia.

“To help tackle inflation, we need a more productive economy and decisions like this will hurt that as well.”
