Former ASPI Executive Director Peter Jennings says the “best way” to get the Russians to agree to finish the battle in Ukraine and withdraw their forces is for Ukraine to be as “well-armed as it possibly can be” by the European and American nations.
“In particular, it’s coming down right now to a discussion about armoured vehicles, about tanks,” he instructed Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Modern Western tanks on the Ukrainian battlefield could well become the decisive thing in the Donbas.”
