Dolphins NRL CEO Terry Reader believes his workforce has the “best coach in the business” in Wayne Bennett, who has received a report seven premierships as coach.
“The one thing Wayne’s teams have always had is fight, they’re competitive, and I think when anyone plays the Dolphins, they will know they are in a game,” he instructed Sky News Australia.
Mr Reader added Bennett is having fun with “every minute” of the optimistic ambiance on the Dolphins.
“I think he is happy to be in the routine now after the transition … talking to players, signing players and doing stuff for their academies now they have got the routine of playing.”
The Dolphins face the Sydney Roosters of their first sport on Sunday, March 5.
