Australia to continue facing housing shortage amid migration boom

One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby says Labor’s housing fund will not repair the scarcity of homes in Australia.

Mr Ashby’s feedback come because the Australian Bureau of Statistics revealed on Thursday that the variety of folks residing in Australia grew by 536,200 in 12 months to the tip of March rising the inhabitants to 26.5 million.

“We’ve got a massive problem,” he advised Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Albanese past today that housing bill which has given him the freedom to go and invest $10 billion to then hopefully build 30,000 homes over the next couple of years.

“The point is after 30 days we’ve allowed 60,00 people into this country that has just evaporated those houses he intends to build over the next five years straight away.

“So Australians aren’t going to see the benefit of this.”
