Shadow Defence Minister Andrew Hastie says Australia can be a “force for good” with the addition of nuclear submarines below the AUKUS settlement.
“We’ll be able to preserve our own sovereignty, and we’ll also be able to contribute to the preservation of our neighbour’s sovereignty as well,” Mr Hastie informed Sky News Australia.
“That’s why we’ve invested in AUKUS.”
