AUKUS is a ‘nation-building task’ that will span generations

Shadow Defence Minister Andrew Hastie says AUKUS is a “nation-building task” that can span generations and governments.

“It is so important that we work together to get this done,” Mr Hastie instructed Sky News Australia.

“Leaders will have to drive this whole process.

“We can’t afford for people in government departments to be sitting on their hands … to be wasting time and money.”
