Around 1,700 blood transfusions per day are wanted to satisfy the present demand, Lifeblood Executive Director of Donor Services Cath Stone says.
“We had a record day just before Christmas,” Ms Stone instructed Sky News Australia.
“What we do still need is 1,700 donors a day to meet the ongoing demand that we’ve got at the moment.”
