Prime Minister Anthony Albanese needed to intervene on Wednesday to rule out that the federal government is contemplating the “tax-free status” of the household house, in accordance with Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“It followed the Treasurer failing to be as decisive in quashing questions about whether the government would consider changing the capital gains tax-free status of the family home,” Mr Greenwood stated.
