Alice Springs crime ‘wouldn’t be tolerated’ anywhere else in Australia: Dutton

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has expressed concern over the crime disaster in Alice Springs, stating that such a state of affairs “wouldn’t be tolerated” anyplace else in Australia and “certainly not” in a capital metropolis.

Speaking at a media convention, Dutton mentioned, “In Brisbane, or Sydney, or Hobart – there would be public outrage.”

“Somehow, we’re treating Territorians as second-class citizens under this government, and it has to stop.”
