Ronan Davies, aged 17 months, died final month after being rushed to hospital with what was described as extreme head and inside accidents.
Police had beforehand alleged the person “had inflicted the injuries upon Ronan” whereas he was caring for him and earlier than he returned him to his father.
He was rushed to Women’s and Children’s Hospital at 6pm on June 7 and died two days later.
The man, from Glenelg North, was refused bail and can seem within the Adelaide Magistrates Court in the present day.
