Addressing the most important housing disaster in NSW is among the “first new steps” of the state’s Labor authorities, in response to NSW Housing and Homelessness Minister Rose Jackson.
“We have a real problem with affordable rental in particular,” she informed Sky News Australia.
“In Sydney, new figures are indicating it’s up over 20 per cent in the last year … and the regions are being smashed too.
“So we are really taking steps to acknowledge how serious our problem is.”
